I am passionate about all types of food but in particular cakes and desserts. I provide not only an excellent end product in both taste and presentation, but also a quality service second to none, including personal appointments, bespoke design and local delivery and set up of wedding cakes.

My passion started with O level and A levels in Food Technology, followed by an HND in Catering management.  Even from this early age I began making and decorating cakes, including my sister’s wedding cake at 19.

The demand for cakes from friends and family grew, leading to me attending courses to gain further skills in the making of flowers and models. I also gained qualifications in Advanced Food Hygiene, First Aid and Health and Safety.

I attended courses on the business side of things before becoming Clare’s Creative Cakes Limited, registered Business 05899198 in 2006.

My premises are regularly checked by Environmental Health.

Throughout this journey my motto has been to make a cake that tastes as good as it looks and looks better than the customer imagined.
